According to EY Global, AI can free up time for innovation, provide new combinations of technologies to enable better ways of working and help guide us on the path towards even more effective creative ideas.

From the moment you open your eyes in the morning to the moment you go back to sleep, Technology is everywhere.

Technology for centuries has both excited the human imagination and prompted fears about its effects. One such type of technology that keeps the tech enthusiasts on their toes is Artificial Intelligence aka AI.

In case you didn’t know, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is the next new advancement in the technological front, which can be defined as a machine that thinks rationally and acts according to its reasoning or in other words, AI refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions.

AI is a technology that is transforming every walk of life. It enables people to rethink how we integrate information, analyze data, and use the resulting insights to improve decision-making. Now like every other thing on this planet Artificial Intelligence has a debatable amount of benefits and risks associated with it. Well this goes without saying that Max Tegmark was absolutely right when he said,

“Everything we love about civilization is a product of intelligence, so amplifying our human intelligence with artificial intelligence has the potential of helping civilization flourish like never before — as long as we manage to keep the technology beneficial.”

Now to put your brain at ease I’ll enumerate a few advantages and disadvantages associated with AI.

AI has more than just a bucket full of benefits, like it willingly takes risks instead of humans being directly impacted by it. It can also create a smarter approach to public health and improve the overall health industry. It contributes in reduction in human error and round the clock availability which makes it efficient and reliable. It provides highly advanced digital assistance which in turn decreases redundant work force and helps in quick decision making. It also has a huge contribution in the field of invention and improves new age communication and transportation.

Well now like everything that exists in this world has its own pros and cons, So even AI has a few cons like the cost of installation and maintenance is high. Can lead to unemployment and lacks an effective presence of emotional decision making quotient which makes it questionable on ethical and moral grounds.Lack of creativity and uniqueness. Last but not the least potential risk of Robots taking over the human race.

Currently the pros outweigh the cons for Artificial Intelligence. But it is possible as long as it’s usage is not exploited. AI is making life changing decisions and either legally or ethically, this makes a strong case for making it accountable and should be open for interrogation.

So now the question arises, “How can Artificial intelligence and Humans work together ?

With our lives moving from social media news feed to business productivity tools, the boundary between what is human-made and machine-made is becoming almost invisible, resulting in vast shifts in how we perceive and interact with the world. Nowadays there is a new trend for businesses to drive long-term growth, creativity, and innovation are essentially needed.⁣

⁣Success and growth won’t be achieved by focusing on technology alone, because technology is no more than a tool that enables us to develop goods and services that humans need.

In reality AI can actually help human beings ignite creativity to allow them to focus on catering more valuable needs.

Furthermore, AI has the potential to significantly benefit people in the undeveloped and developing countries. AI can train human resources to become entrepreneurs, web designers, app developers, engineers, or scientists — all with the help of artificial intelligence systems.

While the future of an automated workforce can be frightening, the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution will create a huge wave of opportunity for businesses and individuals. One of the reasons for the growing role of AI is the tremendous opportunities for economic development that it presents. Global spending on cognitive and AI systems will reach $57.6 billion in 2021, according to market research firm IDC.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming the most powerful technology in human history, being either the best thing ever to happen to humanity or the worst. Well believing in the former thing would make more sense as of now.
