Art+AI Expertise

I have been working with interactive Creative AI art projects for more than 15 years, including robotic art, VR, and large public installations. Lately, my research efforts are focused on generating AI visual narratives, assigning semantic value to objects from videos sequences.

Work with AI

I am the co-director of the Creative AI Research Group and Lab at De Montfort University, UK. I have been exhibiting in China, Europe, USA and Brazil. My current research is about Embodied intelligence and Creative AI and my focus, as artist and researcher, is on making humans more creative through the design, development and deployment of Creative AI. I aim for a symbiotic future, where artists and Creative AI work together as a continuous system of interactive relations.

Vision

I believe that the key point to build future Creative AI systems is to prioritize the co-operative nature of experiencing AI in a shared creative enterprise. One of the real challenges in the field of AI is to have effective collaboration between AI systems and artists.
