“Luna”, the environmental robot made by “Cleaner Future”, a solution which aims to clean our streets of cigarette butts found on the ground. A real revolution for green cities.
Today, we are all concerned by environmental problems, especially pollution. Cleaner Future aims to help solve these problems by tackling cigarette butts. Each year 50 billion cigarettes are sold, and about 30 billion of them end up in our environment.
A costly waste
The cigarette butt, since the 1980s, represents 30 to 40% of the waste collected on the floor. It alone takes 2 to 5 years to disappear by polluting nature. This represents a high environmental cost for our planet, moreover it is also costing us dearly in human resources. In order to collect as many cigarette ends as possible, each year groups of people mobilize to collect them with the help of cities cleaning systems and with their own means.
