Podcast Announcement — Deep Neural Notebooks
This post is to announce a podcast channel that I have recently started.
Playing with the names here a little bit, I have decided to call it —
Deep Neural Notebooks .
About the podcast
Deep Neural Notebooks, for me, is a platform through which I aspire to talk to experts, from industry and academia, from fields that go hand in hand with Computer Science; fields that are empowered by computation, data and learning-based algorithms — Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Neuroscience, Machine Learning, Data Science, among so many more and the potential of Open Sourcing our way into the future.
It is this confluence of Computation and Science that I seek to dive into when I interview research scientists, professors, developers and practitioners across the world, to get a sense of the work they do, their thoughts on the state of their expertise, their journeys so far and the road ahead.
I believe that it is through conversations like these that we can boil down the essence of vast resources of knowledge and expertise into more consumable bits that can enrich our understanding of concepts and technologies that are shaping our world.
It’s not just about Deep Learning
Though the name is reminiscent of Deep Learning, the conversations in the episodes wouldn’t be limited to Deep Learning / ML / AI topics. I wish to cover various fields of Science that are empowered by the computational models that Machine Learning and Data Science bring to the table, their applications, implications and societal inhibitions.
Through feed-foward discussions and interviews, I hope this podcast can backpropagate a more coherent latent-representation of the role of data-driven systems across various disciplines of Science and Tech, enabling supervised understanding and unsupervised introspection.
